Project Summary

The mission of this project was to design an environment inspired by the Red Desert of Arizona. As an adventurous soul, exploring mountains and various terrains is a hobby of mine, being able to develop the very environments that inspire my work is what drove my passion for this project. Using Unreal Engine 4 and assets provided from the Asset store. I created mountain skylines, landmarks, pathing, appropriate line of sight and SFX to bring to life this desert landscape. This level was under development for approximately one month as the initial stages were spent blocking out the space, sculpting terrain and establishing sight lines. Lighting, Foliage, SFX and prop detail was the focus of the second half of level production.
